2002 RESERVE CABERNET SAUVIGNON
A deep rich red wine. The wine has excellent acidity and length.
The tannins are finely balanced, having grainy and fine mouth feel.
The nose is lifted with intense blackberry and cherry characters combined with earthy, green, leathery complexity.
A wine which will benefit greatly from extended cellaring.
Riesling 2004 RIESLING
A vibrant and lively greenish straw colour, which will developed in time.
The nose is alive with lemon, lime and floral characters, with a hint of attractive Botrytis. These characters persist on the palate which is long and crisp.
The palate is medium weight. This wine will benefit greatly from careful cellaring: Toasty, aged characters should develop, adding further complexity.
Serve chilled.
Sauvignon Blanc 2003 LATE HARVEST SAUVIGNON
The 2003 Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc has been made as a dessert style sweet wine, similar to German Ice wine
A deep golden wine with excellent firm acidity and length.
The nose is very complex, having intense herbaceous, gooseberry and passionfruit aromas.
This wine will benefit greatly from careful, extended cellaring.
Nouveau Rouge 2003 NOUVEAU ROUGE PINOT NOIR
100% Southern Highlands Pinot Noir was used to make cherry/rose coloured wine. This wine is made using the carbonic maceration technique as practised in Beaujolais, France.
A bright cherry/rose colour. The wine has good firm acidity and length for this style of wine.
The nose is lifted with fresh dark cherry and floral aromas. Served chilled.
